This Year at the festival, along with their all new pop up shop selling exclusive Skinny Jean Gardeners kits, tools and seeds plus great products tried and tested by the brothers, they’re bringing free Sow & Grow workshops throughout the weekend. Pop along to sow and learn about your seeds, and GYO when you get home from the Feastival! They will be located next to our Herb Garden and workshops will be run on a first-come, first-serve basis so come along and get involved.

The Skinny Jean Gardeners will be at Perrywood Garden Centre on Saturday 28th May (10.30am-3.30pm), bringing you their unique take on gardening. Throughout the day, there will be gardening competitions, shows and workshops for all the family to enjoy.
10.30-11.00: SJG Little Diggers Show – fun and gardening games

The gardening brothers started their ‘green-fingered adventure’ on a council allotment followed by creating a kitchen garden at Jimmy Doherty’s farm, becoming ambassadors for Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, designing a garden for the International Gardening World Cup in Japan and becoming YouTubers. Having contributed to CBBC’s Blue Peter and BBC Radio 1, the Skinny Jean Gardeners are ‘on a mission to get children, teens and students gardening’.

Colchester Food and Drink website says.. "Over 100 different stalls with local and international food and drink. There will be so much to see and try. There will be food and drink to eat on the spot. There will be food and drink to make a picnic with. And lots of food and drink to take home.
Our Celebrity Chef Kitchen will be performing all day and of course is FREE. Relax in the wonderful atmosphere of this much loved Festival. You can have a picnic, listen to the music. Stroll around the stalls trying some of the artisan produced local goodies.
Inside the Festival with FREE entry is the Colchester Rose Show. Over 100 years old the show has some lovely exhibits. And YOU can enter, perhaps even win one of the silver trophies (see Rose Show Classes button below).
We have kept our entrance price the same at £3.50 for adults and with FREE parking in Kings Meadow it makes it the cheapest day out for all the family. We strive to be disabled friendly and always welcome suggestions on how we can improve. Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome."
